Installation instructions applies for both Wide Angle Door Viewer and Door Scope       

This is a sample diagram of the Door Viewer

Required tools for easy installation: Power Drill, Hole Saw with mandrel which is available to order here at a reasonable price.  Will work both hollow or solid wood only.

Step 1. Determine the desired height and locate the center of the door for location.  With a hole saw with mandrel (drill bit pilot attached inside),  Start from the exterior side of the door, drill until drill bit protrudes through interior side of the door at 1/8". Then go to the inside and finish drilling the hole out.

Step 2. Place the sticker label on the door where the door viewer is to be positioned.  Be sure that the label on the outside of the door and is kept horizontal with reference to the level line given on the label. Align the installation sticker part of the templates and stick it to the surface. Mark those four guides with a pointed material. Then drill four 1/8" holes for retainer plate approximately 1/8" in depth, as indicated on the template.

Step 3. Insert outer prism head to the exterior side of door with the four pins in the holes. 

Step 4. Insert main body into hole from interior side and screw together while holding prism in place.  Secure snug and turn locking ring until contact with door surface.
